W: No
M: Will you ever be?
W: Nope.
M: Then let's go.
W: A couple more minutes... please? I can't... I just need a second.
M: Okay.
W: What am I supposed to say to him?
M: Who?
W: My father.
M: Just tell him the truth.
W: What if I don't even know what the truth is?
M: Then I guess you're in trouble.
W: Wait, what did you say? Why would I be in trouble?
M: You're supposed to know what the truth is. If you didn't, then why'd you say "I do?"
W: I don't know...
M: You don't know?! I gave away my life for you and now you don't know?!
W: Yes.. I mean.. You don't understand!
M: Obviously not. Have fun with your dad. Make sure to tell him I say hi.
I really like this. It seems like a real comversation that people would have.
